Dan — Pink's Windows Palm Beach

Hi, I'm Dan

I run Pink's across Palm Beach — the island, West Palm, and Wellington — and El Cid is one of my favorite neighborhoods to work in. Those 1920s Mediterranean Revival homes have original leaded and casement glass that a careless crew can ruin in one pass. I walk every property myself, and the same crew comes back each visit and learns your home — the historic panes, the impact glass, the salt-loaded tracks. We hand-detail the old glass and clean the new the right way.

You'll have my cell. Text me anytime.

Historic & Impact Glass Care

The Pink's Home Promise at El Cid

Most window cleaning is sold as a service. We sell it as a promise to your home — and in a historic district, that promise matters more.

When you join the Pink's Home Promise, Dan walks the property and the same crew comes back every visit. We hand-detail your original leaded and casement glass — not a squeegee-and-go — and clean newer impact panes coating-safe, with neutral-pH chemistry that won't touch a Low-E coating.

You sit close to the Intracoastal, so salt air plus West Palm Beach municipal water at 150–250 ppm hardness works on the glass year-round. Most El Cid homes settle into a quarterly or twice-yearly rhythm to stay ahead of it. Your call — no high-pressure sales, just an honest plan.

What Salt and Hard Water Do to Your Glass

El Cid sits a few hundred feet off the Intracoastal, and the daily salt air doesn't stop. Layer West Palm Beach's hard municipal water on top of it and here's what happens to glass that isn't actively maintained:

150–250 ppm
West Palm Beach municipal water hardness — plus Intracoastal salt air

The fix isn't dramatic: neutral-pH chemistry, deionized water rinses, soft pads, and a crew that won't put anything alkaline on coated glass. And your original leaded and casement panes are hand-detailed by hand, never pressure-washed — the only way to keep historic glass safe. That's the whole product.

What Every Visit Includes

No once-over, no shortcuts. The same crew cleans the whole property, every visit — with the historic glass hand-detailed.

Built for El Cid's Historic Glass

El Cid is one of West Palm Beach's oldest and most distinctive neighborhoods — a historic district of restored 1920s Mediterranean Revival homes set just off the Intracoastal Waterway. Many still wear their original leaded windows, steel casements, arched transoms, and decorative ironwork, alongside newer construction with floor-to-ceiling impact panels.

Every home here is a little different, and the glass tells you how to clean it. A 90-year-old casement window is not a 2024 impact panel. The old glass gets hand-detailed — gentle, non-abrasive methods that protect original panes, came, and period hardware, with no pressure washing anywhere near it. The impact glass gets non-abrasive pads, neutral-pH chemistry, and deionized water rinses that protect coatings. We train the crew on the difference and send the same team to your home every visit, so they learn the layout, the access points, and the glass on every elevation.

Salt corrosion on metal frames moves faster this close to the water, so we clean frames and tracks as part of every visit — leave them dirty and they redeposit salt onto clean glass within days. $2M insured, neutral-pH and coating-safe throughout. Frequently Asked Questions

What is The Pink's Home Promise?
Dan walks your property in person, proposes a plan that fits your home and your schedule, and the same crew handles every visit — windows, sills, tracks, screens, and your lanai or pool cage. Original leaded and casement glass is hand-detailed, not squeegeed. You set the rhythm: quarterly for some El Cid homes, twice a year for others. No high-pressure sales, just an honest plan.
Can you handle original 1920s leaded and casement glass?
Yes, and we treat it with the care it's owed. El Cid is full of restored 1920s Mediterranean Revival homes with original leaded, casement, and steel windows. We hand-detail that glass — gentle, non-abrasive methods that protect the original panes, came, and period hardware. No pressure washing near historic windows.
Is your cleaning safe for impact glass and Low-E coatings?
Yes. Many El Cid homes now have newer impact-rated glass alongside the original windows. We use non-abrasive pads, neutral-pH chemistry, and deionized water rinses that protect coatings, and we match the method to each window type within the same home.
How often does El Cid glass need cleaning?
Most El Cid homes settle into a quarterly or twice-yearly rhythm. You sit near the Intracoastal, so salt air plus West Palm Beach municipal water at 150–250 ppm hardness works on the glass year-round. Dan proposes the rhythm after walking your property — it's your call.
What do you actually clean on each visit?
Every pane inside and out, sills, tracks and frames, screens, and your lanai or pool cage. In El Cid, salt-contaminated tracks recontaminate clean glass within days, so frames and tracks are part of every visit. Soft-wash house and roof, gutters, and screen repair are available as add-ons.
What happens if something is missed or damaged?
If anything is missed, we come back — that's the promise. We carry $2M in general liability coverage, use coating-safe, neutral-pH solutions, and padded ladder protection at every contact point, with extra care around original historic glass. In the rare event of an issue, we document it immediately and make it right.
