What Salt and Hard Water Do to Your Glass
A short list of what salt air, irrigation, and humidity do to SoSo glass if it's not actively maintained:

SoSo (South of Southern) runs nearly eight miles along the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach — one of the fastest-evolving stretches in the county, from 1950s ranches to brand-new contemporary builds with walls of glass facing the water.
That waterfront location is the draw, and it's also the problem. Intracoastal exposure means daily salt deposition on every glass surface. Humidity liquefies salt on the glass, afternoon sun bakes it into a film, and left unmaintained it leads to permanent etching. Different homes need different hands: new impact panels get coating-safe technique, while original single-pane and jalousie windows get hand-detailing. We send the same crew to your home every visit, so they learn your glass.
Frames and tracks get extra attention here. Salt-contaminated aluminum frames corrode, and salt trapped in sliding-door tracks redeposits onto clean glass within days — so we clean both on every visit.
